This is the west side of the Vanderbilt Mansion as the sun was setting. This historical site is located in Hyde Park, NY. Overlooking the Hudson River and the Catskill Mountains in the distance. Formal gardens are maintained during the growing season.

Mohonk Mountain House in Winter
Mohonk Mountain House, a famed resort hotel born in the 19th century, sits atop the Shawangunk range of the Catskill Mountains. An important conference and vacation center, it provides guests with miles of walking trails and more than 100 picturesque gazebos.

Stalling
This fella patiently awaits the next group of tourists to Mount Rushmore National Park. The hanging boots complete the picture.

Solitude
If you like fly fishing, it doesn't get much better than early morning on the Snake River in Yellowstone, with the Tetons in the distance.
