Yellow Butterfly
For once I found a butterfly that enjoyed it's picture taken. I must have been able to take 15 photos, normally as soon as I get close enough, the butterfly is gone. Lucky for me this one liked this particular flower.

I just enjoy taking photos of wildflowers. I hope to do more next year using a macro lens that I am planning on purchasing. Then you can really see the detail of the flower.
Yellow Gerbers
I enjoy flowers, both as a photographer and a gardener. I had just recently purchased my first digital SLR camera and want to experiment. I stopped at Black Horse Farm nursey in Catsill and found these flowers. It is one of my favorite shots.

Chalice
Maui, Hawaii There is not a single colour hidden away in the chalice of a flower, or the curve of a shell, to which, by some subtle sympathy with the very soul of things, my nature does not answer. - Oscar Wilde 1854-1900 Irish playwright, poet, and writer I spent a peaceful dawn on a Maui beach shooting trees, flowers and sand formations. A few other people were walking the beach. Some questioned me, not believing I was just taking photos of nature. I do not know if they thought I was paparazzi getting the scoop on some star ... or maybe they thought I was voyeuristic. The next beach over was a nude beach.
