This is the west side of the Vanderbilt Mansion as the sun was setting. This historical site is located in Hyde Park, NY. Overlooking the Hudson River and the Catskill Mountains in the distance. Formal gardens are maintained during the growing season.

Eastern State
Fine art photograph of a cell in historic Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Eastern was designed to provide for the salvation of criminals through extended solitary confinement and isolation. The sky light was percieved as the eye of God calling the inmates to salvation.

This old bridge is no longer in use and from this angle it almost looked like it was hiding. I took this picture because my mother loves old covered bridges.

This image is of the Cole family store in the ghost town of Medicine Mound, TX. The store was constructed of granite river rock from Okahoma and once served as gas station, bank, and post office to the thriving Hardeman County community. Proceeds from print sales benefit the privately owned and operated Medicine Mound Museum.
